Cynthia E. Cherny

Cynthia E. “Cindy” Cherny, 69, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away May 23, 2006. She was born November 3, 1936 in Hudson, NY to John and May (Harrigan) Stenger. Cindy graduated from Columbia High School in East Greenbush, NY and attended Austin Beauty School in Albany, NY. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Pt. Charlotte, an Elkette #2606 in Punta Gorda and an Elder of First Presbyterian Church in Punta Gorda. Cindy will be greatly missed by her husband of 27 years, Joe; daughter Paula Ratliff of Hudson, NY; son James Ratliff of Hudson, NY; brother Frank Stenger of Columbus, MS and sister Arlene Gorman of Troy, NY. A memorial service in celebration of Cindy’s life will be at 11:00 am, Friday, June 2 at First Presbyterian Church in Punta Gorda.
