Coralie Ann Stamp, 84, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away at the Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte on September 26, 2020, at 10:15 PM. She was born on August 5, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio to Martin and Cora Johnson. Coralie married Robert Felger on March 12, 1955. They had four boys: Randolph (Randy), William (Bill), James (Jim), and Norman (Norm). She later re-married Donald (Don) Stamp on January 8, 1984. Don and Coralie lived in Salem, Ohio and later in life moved to Punta Gorda, Florida.
Coralie learned to fly in 1963 and earned her private and commercial pilot’s license. She was a member of the 99’s and was named pilot of the year in 1981. She was a beloved member of the warbird community and attended the Oshkosh and Sun-in-Fun airshows with her husband Don for many years.
Coralie enjoyed shopping, cross-stitching, and baking. She enjoyed a good glass of wine, especially with her one piece of Ghirardelli chocolate before going to bed. She also enjoyed fine dining and visiting with her grandsons in Ohio, and granddaughters in Colorado. She was the glue that kept the family whole, often arranging for family get-togethers. Coralie’s parents, Martin and Cora Johnson, her sister, Dorothy (Dottie) Witzens, and husband, Donald Stamp preceded her in death.
Coralie is survived by her four children, Randy (Rena) Felger, Bill (Leah) Felger, Jim (Tammy)Felger, and Norman Felger; nine grandchildren Joseph (aka TJ) (Danielle), Kevin (Tania), Elizabeth (Fredo), John, Brad, Brayton, Benji, Dakota, and Sierra; and six great-grandchildren Dorian, Jaydan, Skyler, Jack, Noah, and Wes.
