Constance Bogacki

Constance (Connie) M. Bogacki (83) passed away on July 21, 2024, in Venice, Florida surrounded by family.

Connie was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 10, 1941, to the late Henry and Stephanie (Kesicki) Pietrzak.

Connie grew up in Wicker Park, IL and spent her summers in Lake Como, Wisconsin with her three sisters and parents. She graduated high school from Holy Family Academy and attended Loyola University Chicago for one year. Connie met Henry (Butch) Bogacki as he accompanied her at the Chicago Debutante Ball and soon after married Butch on October 5, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois at Queen of All Saints Basilica.

Connie was a devoted and loving mother raising two beautiful daughters in Niles, IL. She enjoyed working for Bell & Howell company for 20 years in various positions. Upon retirement she and Butch cherished helping to care for their 4 grandchildren and split their time between Niles, IL and Lake Como, Wisconsin. After the passing of Butch in 2011 she moved full time to Lake Como, WI. Then in 2018 she became a Florida resident sharing her time between Venice, FL and Lake Como, WI. Connie was a mother who gave her all, but her pride and joy were her 4 grandchildren. She devoted herself to them and attended everything she could related to their lives.

She is survived by her two daughters, Michele Bogacki (John Norton) and Christine (Bogacki) Schleden (Robert) and four grandchildren, Natalie Norton, Olivia Norton, Eric Schleden and Alan Schleden.

Connie was a beacon of kindness and generosity, while always thinking of others first. With her warrior spirit, she endured many health challenges no one should face. Her family and friends will feel her loss profoundly and she will be very missed.

Services will be held in both Florida and Wisconsin. Dates to be announced.
