Conrad Michael Hankison

Conrad Michael Hankison, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away February 10, 2018. He was the son of Ivan and Elaine Hankison, born August 23, 1942 in Carbondale, OH. He moved to Punta Gorda as a 15 year-old. Mike served in the National Guard, and was a cable splicer for the telephone company for 42 years before retiring. Mike was a Hall of Fame basketball and football player for Charlotte High; he also enjoyed playing golf. Mike will be greatly missed by his brothers, Jack (Bonnie) Hankison and Danny Hankison; sister, Sheri (Don) Riggs; granddaughters, Megan (Craig) DeVries and Kaely Hankison; and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sandy Stumpf. A Celebration of Mike's Life will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riggs' residence; 6980 SW Albritton St, Arcadia (Just off Kings Hwy.)
