Connie E. Dickmann

Connie E. Dickmann, 71, of Port Charlotte died March 9, 2017 of Bulbar ALS. She was born August 10, 1945 in Covington, KY to William J. and Helen Elliott. A retired school teacher Connie moved to Punta Gorda, in 1997. She continued her life vocation by subbing at East Elementary School in Punta Gorda. She worked as an election instructor for Charlotte County. An active member of the First Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, Connie was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and a member of the church choir. Most recently she was active with the church choir at her new church Peace River Baptist Church in Punta Gorda. Survivors include her loving husband, Paul; son, Justin Crigler; step-sons, Douglas, David and Dale Dickmann; sister, Rebecca Smith; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. A gathering of family and friends will be held at 12 to 1pm with memorial service to celebrate Connie's life at 1pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Peace River Baptist Church of Punta Gorda.
