Christine M. Stawick

Christine M. Stawick, 87, of Punta Gorda passed away April 11, 2011. She was born June 18, 1923 in Germany to Franz and Friedericke Schulte. Christine was a travel agent and retired from the Pieper Travel Bureau in Buffalo. She was a member of the Punta Gorda Garden Club, Inc and Ikebana Buffalo, New York Chapter, which she held several offices. Christine loved to cook, bake, and made wonderful European-type desserts. She enjoyed working in her garden and had a beautiful English style garden in Buffalo. Christine will be greatly missed by her daughters, Heidi (Milton) Kaletta and Vera Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry. A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 22, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
