Christian Charles Freund of East Islip, NY passed away on May 10, 2018 in his Ft. Meyers, FL home. Beloved son of Timothy and Doreen . Loving step-son of Antoinette. Dear brother of Jessica, Danielle and William. Cherished brother-in-law of Joseph. Proud new uncle of Evelyn Grace. Christian was a man that found his strength in helping others less fortunate than he and caring for those he loved. He was a people person, and could make anyones day a little brighter just by being himself. Christian was happiest when boating and spending time on the beaches of Fire Island with his family. Being near the water always brought a smile to his face and was where he found his inner peace.Christian will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Memorial Visitation Saturday, May 26, 2018, 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons Funeral Home in East Islip. In lieu of flowers, Christian's family suggests donations be made in his loving memory to Drug Crisis in Our Backyard (www.drugcrisisinourbackyard.org).
