Charlie J. Bryant, Jr.

Charlie J. Bryant, Jr., 39, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on April 15, 2021. He was born on August 5, 1981, to Charlie Bryant Sr. and Mary Boykins in Oxford, UK.  Charlie moved to Punta Gorda in June 2015 from Nashville, TN.  He was a graduate of Wallace Rose Hill High School and worked for Rauland Borg of Florida as a Data Technician.

Charlie joined the First Baptist Church of Teachey, NC at a young age.  He loved music and coaching PeeWee football with the Charlotte Warriors.  Charlie was a truly kind and compassionate man who loved his family profoundly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charlie will be deeply missed by his wife of 22 years Dekita Monique Bryant; parents Mary Boykins Faison and Charlie (Katura) Bryant Sr.; daughters Tiana Monique and Tia Vonceia Bryant; son Charlie James Bryant III; brother Carlos (Valencia) D. Bryant; special family members Carlos II, Aiden, Tiffany, and George.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Liston and Emma Boykin and Willie and Vestlilla Bryant.

He will be truly missed by a host of family and friends.
