Charles "Chu Chu" Meynard, III, 50, of Port Charlotte passed away October 15, 2008. He was born August 20, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York to Betty (Smokes) and Charles Meynard, Jr. Charles moved from Pelham, New York to Port Charlotte in 1987. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte. Charles enjoyed fishing, football and listening to music. He enjoyed dressing well and was known as a trend sitter. Charles will be greatly missed by his wife of 30 years, Joanne; parents, Charlie and Betty of New Rochelle, NY; daughters, Amber Meynard of Port Chester, NY and Jasmine Meynard of Pt Charlotte; sons, Taireef of Tallahassee, FL, Terrell of New York, Shareef, Rashad, Servon and Zion all of Pt Charlotte; brother, David Meynard of New Rochelle, NY; sisters, Joanne (Ross) Mathis of NJ, Ruth Eva Bridges of New Rochelle, NY, Sandra Meynard of New Rochelle, NY and Vanessa Meynard of New Rochelle, NY; grandchild, Aaliyah Meynard of NY and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Monday, October 20, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Port Charlotte with a celebration of Charles' life to follow at 1:00 pm with Rev.
