Charles J. Penegor

Charles Joseph Penegor, 67, of Punta Gorda passed away suddenly at home on October 15, 2017. He was born October 18, 1949 in Hancock, MI to James and Clarice Penegor. An avid cyclist, he had logged over 50, 000 miles leading tours for Adventure Cycling. Chuck was also an avid bridge walker and could be seen daily crossing the Peace River in the early afternoon. He was a Vietnam veteran, a CPA, received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his MBA from the University of South Florida. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lorinda Penegor; brother, James (Kathy) of Virginia, David (Debbie) of Boynton Beach, Michael (Diane) of Loxahatchee; sister Clare of Ocala and his best friend, David Millar.
