Catherine Moylan

Catherine “Kay” Moylan, 84, of Punta Gorda passed away January 6, 2007. She was born January 19, 1922 in Cork, Ireland to Edward and Margaret (Sexton) O’Brien. Kay immigrated from Ireland to New York in 1958 and worked for the British Consulate as a secretary. She moved to Florida in 1982. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was an Eucharistic Minister at Sacred Heart. Kay was a member of the old Punta Gorda Yacht Club and in the theater as an amateur performer in Showtime. She will be greatly missed by her sisters, Teresa O’Brien of Punta Gorda and Margaret Campbell of Dublin, Ireland; along with two nieces and two nephews. A memorial mass will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 12 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
