Catherine Milazzo

Catherine "Cathy" Milazzo, 73, of Punta Gorda passed away February 28, 2015. She was the only child of Chester and Mary Jane Modrake, born June 24, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY. Cathy was a retired bookkeeper and moved from Jamaica, NY to this area in 2001. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, Sudoku and playing scrabble. Cathy was an excellent cook. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 41 years, Joe; sister in law, Joanne Milazzo goddaughter, Dr. Jennifer L. Roman; cousin, Paul Kopp and many friends. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Larry Taylor Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 11am, Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
