Catherine Lee Gates

Catherine Lee Gates, 58 of Punta Gorda formerly of Middlesex, VT passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012. She was the daughter of William and Francis (McDonald) Grant, born April 7, 1953 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Catherine worked as a insurance underwriter for Concord Group Insurance in Montpelier, VT and later at Lynn Insurance in Boca Raton, FL. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Catherine will be greatly missed by her husband, Leland C. Gates III; sons, Travis (Mandy) Millard of Gainesville and Leland C. Gates IV of Punta Gorda; daughter Cassondra (Devin) McMullen of Charlotte Harbor; grandson, Teagan Jack Millard; brothers, Richard (Christine) Grant, William (Joanne) Grant both of Mississauga, Ontario and David Grant of Toronto, Ontario; sisters, Judy (Ralph) Byrnes of Mississauga, Ontario and Carol Grant of Toronto, Ontario; father-in-law, Leland C. (Audrey) Gates, Jr. Of Punta Gorda/Grosse Pointe Park, MI and mother-in-law, Betty Millard of Punta Gorda/Eden, VT. A memorial service will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 W.
