Carolyn Beth "Ole Ma" Sprague

Carolyn Beth "Ole Ma" Sprague, 78, of Punta Gorda, formerly of Owosso, MI passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda. She was the daughter of Frank and Nellie Town, born on March 9, 1936 in Chesaning, MI. Carolyn was a member of Cleveland United Methodist Church and a past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She retired from East Elementary School in Punta Gorda. She will be remembered for having a kind heart and a warm smile. Carolyn was as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 53 years, Jim; daughter, Karen (Bill) Becker; sons, Kevin (Kim) Sprague and Kenyon (Missy) Sprague; grandchildren, Kayla, Kelsey, Austin, Colby and Kolten; sisters, Jane (Steve) Swigonski and Annie (Leroy) Seadorf. A memorial service to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Cleveland United Methodist Church, 28038 Cleveland Avenue, Punta Gorda.
