Carol L Waid

Carol L. Waid, 58, of North Port, Florida passed away July 9, 2014. She was the daughter of Thomas E. and Helen R. (Vanscoy) Shute, born February 15, 1956 in Stubenville, Ohio. Carol moved to North Port from Arcadia, Florida in 1993. She enjoyed gardening. Carol will be greatly missed by her husband of 20 years, Ray; daughters, Jamie Ray Waid of Tampa, FL and Jessica Ruff of Columbus, OH; sons, Christopher Maine of Arcadia, and David Ruff of Florida; sisters, Bonnie Tschopp and Rena Ford, both of Baltimore, OH, and Susan Jackson of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Russell Jackson of Lancaster, OH; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Rae Ricker. The service in celebration of Carol's life will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
