Carol E Cupero

Carol Ellen Cupero, 81, passed on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Born March 31, 1937 in Manhattan, New York to Raymond and Mary Hayden, Carol was the second oldest of six children. Carol married Frank Cupero on May 25, 1957 and spent her life as a domestic engineer in Connecticut raising three sons: Frank Jr., Philip and Anthony. In 1994 Carol and Frank retired down to Punta Gorda, Florida and became active parishioners at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Later in life, they enjoyed traveling around the world and creating friendships to last a lifetime. As an adoring sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carol loved to look after her family and enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading and a good glass of Port wine. After 61 years of marriage, Carol is survived by her husband Frank; her sons Frank Jr (Cindy); Philip (Doreen); her grandchildren Joshua (Jessica), Trisha (Lance), Anthony, Samantha, Thomas, Christopher and Danielle; her great-grandchildren Chloe, Francesca and Alexander; and her sisters Diane and Janet. Carol is preceded in death by her son Anthony and siblings Richard, Raymond and Claire. A Celebration of Life will be at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services on Thursday, January 17, 5:00-7:00 pm; mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Friday, January 18, 11:00 am.
