Carmen A. Butrico, Sr.

Carmen A. Butrico, Sr, 74, of Punta Gorda passed away April 6, 2006. He was born July 24, 1931 in South Plainfield, NJ to Frank and Anna (Pelligrino) Butrico. Carmen was the youngest of 10 children and he owned and operated an auto repair business for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and recorded two holes-in-one at Blue Heron Pines where he lived. Carmen will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, June; children Carmen (Cindy) Butrico, Jr, David (Ginny), Annette (Joe) Smith and Terri Goldman; grandchildren Carol, Robert, David Jr., Kelly, Amanda Smith and Jackie Goldman; brothers Joe and Frank of South Plainfield, NJ and Bill of Seminole, FL; sisters Tessie DiSesso of South Plainfield, NJ and Grace Scala of PA. He was preceded in death by his parents Anna and Frank; brothers James and John; sisters Josephine and Mary. A celebration of Carmen’s life will be 11:00 am, Monday, April 10 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
