Carl J. Hoffman

Carl J. Hoffman, Arcadia, FL died unexpectedly Sat. March 24, 2007 at his home. He was born July 1, 1939, in Erie, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Anna Loftus Hoffman. He was graduated from Academy High School in Erie and served for two years in the Unites States Army. He worked for Cook’s Markets, Loblaws, and Quality Markets where he was a manager for many years. He worked for Foamex Corp. in Corry, PA for 22 years before retiring in 2005 and moving to FL. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Arcadia, FL. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Ruth Parker Hoffman, five step-children Robert (Becky)Donatucci of Glenwood Springs, CO, Richard (Lesley)Lopez of Erie, PA, Randall (vickie) Lopez of Simpsonville, SC, Linda (Michael) Feikles of Erie and Joseph Lopez of Erie, one sister, Joann (George) Eckendorf of Erie, PA., three brothers, Dr. James(Kathy)Hoffman of The Villages, FL, John (Kathy) Hoffman of Erie, PA, and Donald (Mary) Andrews of Blairsville, PA., thirteen grandchildren, 8 great-grand children, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Church will be announced at a later date and inurnment will be in Union City, PA. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online condolences book.
