Bradford D. Richardson

Bradford "Brad" Richardson, 70, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Born May 7, 1940 in Lebanon Junction, KY. Attended Western Kentucky University for 3 yrs and then served 8 years in the US Navy as an ET1 on nuclear submarines. He retired from Bell Atlantic/Decision One as a Branch Manager and moved to this area from Greenwood , IN in 2001. Brad enjoyed boating, gardening, computers and fixing things. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Claudia; mother, Mary (Durham) Richardson of Port Charlotte, FL; daughter, Lisa (Stuart) Plante of Raleigh, NC and daughter-in-law, Atsuko Richardson of Indianapolis, IN; sister, Linda (Mac) Carter of Alaska; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brad and Anna. A military memorial service for both Brad and his son Kyle (37), who died suddenly July 10, 2010 will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of life will be held at Brad's home in Port Charlotte at 2 pm.
