Beverly Ann Garrity

It is with great sadness that the family of Beverly Ann Garrity announces her passing after a short illness on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 75 years. Beverly will be lovingly remembered by Martin, her husband of 55 years, and her children, Martin Jr. and Jacqueline Gardner and her husband, Mark. Beverly will also be fondly remembered by her chosen grandchildren, Avery, Alex, and Justin Brothers. Beverly was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on January 16, 1943. She was a past president of the Bayonne NJ Jaycee-ettes chapter of the Jaycees, and guided many successful charitable projects. Beverly worked as a hair colorist while raising her family in Westfield, New Jersey. Afterwards, she pursued and education and became an insurance underwriter. A devoted wife and mother, Beverly enjoyed travel, decorating, Broadway shows, and entertaining loved ones and friends. She came to Florida to retire with her husband, Martin, and lived in Punta Gorda for the past twenty years. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda. If you choose to send flowers, yellow roses were Beverly's favorite; otherwise, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank Dr. Singh and the 3rd Floor Oncology Nursing Staff at Fawcett Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care they provided.
