Betty L. Price

Betty Lee (Everly) Price, 86, of Punta Gorda Fl, formerly of Munster, IN passed away March 2, 2015. She was born Feb 27, 1929, and grew up in Fairmont, WVA, the daughter of Charles and Nelle Everly. She graduated from East Fairmont High, where she was on the girl's basketball team and a majorette. While attending Fairmont State College she met her husband, Jim. They eventually settled in Munster in 1965 and developed Price Realtors. Betty was a homemaker and busy in the Newcomers Club, Tri Kappa, bowling leagues, and bridge clubs. After raising her children she enjoyed more golf and won a Club Championship at Woodmar CC. Punta Gorda Isles became her year-round home in 2007 after many years of snow birding. She enjoyed Twin Isles CC, her many friends and bridge groups, and her spectacular view of Charlotte Harbor's dancing dolphins and amazing sunsets. Betty is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, James Price; children, Janice Price, J. Gregory (Juanita) Price, and JoNell (David) Eaton; cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Cynthia) Grigson, Dru (Jennifer) Grigson, Kate (Josh) Schenko, Thomas Paliga, Jimmy Eaton, and Jeremiah Eaton; and 11 great grandchildren. She is and will forever be deeply missed. No service is planned at this time.
