Bertrand Barney

Bertrand W. Barney, 72, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away August 22, 2006. He was born May 11, 1934 in Flint, MI to Clinton and Kathleen (Burgess) Barney. Bertrand served in the Air Force and retired from General Motors as a Dye Maker. He moved three years ago from Biloxi, MS to Punta Gorda. Bertrand was an avid golfer. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 24 years, Donna; daughters Jeri Lynn Sutton of Reno, NV and Jill Marie (Poe) Barney of Flushing, MI; son Jeffery W. Barney of Raleigh, NC; step-daughters Dena Hartman of Saginaw, MI and Amy Rosa of Grand Blanc, MI;; step-son David Lawrence of Cleveland, OH; brothers Gary Barney of MI and Greg Barney of FL; sisters, Janice Allen of MI and Patricia Potraziski of MI; several grandchildren.
