Bertha G. Sadowski

Bertha Guzik Sadowski, 89, of Lake Suzy, FL, formerly of New Britain, CT passed away peacefully on October 14, 2016. She was born February 14, 1927 in Poland. At the age of 12, she was taken to Germany to work on a labor camp for the duration of WWII. After the war she married and moved to the United States in 1951. Bertha will be remembered for her tenacity, kind, loving and caring nature. She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Irene DiNeno and her husband, Richard and Sandra Cody and her husband, Louis; grandson, Andrew Cody; and sister, Teresa Gansczyk of Poland. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wincenty Guzik and John Sadowski; brother, Walter Porebski. A private memorial mass will be held at a later date.
