Bert L. Tremblay

Bertrand "Bert" Tremblay, 73, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. He was born July 28, 1938 in Canada to Louis Phillipee and Cecile (Otis) Tremblay. Bert was a retired plasterer and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren. Bert will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Joan; daughters Ann Tremblay of Longwood, FL and Janell (Hermis) Soto of Port Charlotte, FL; son, John Tremblay of Wesley Chapel, FL; brothers, Robert (Mary) of Roanoak, VA, Rene of Quebec, Canada and Pierre of Georgia; sisters, Pierrette Tremblay, Helene and Pauline all of Quebec and grandchildren, Michael, Lauren, Jacob, Ben and Sam. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louis, Roger and Jacques. A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A funeral mass will be 11:00 am, Thursday, July 26, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice or American Cancer.
