Barbara Morrell

Barbara Morrell, 74, of Punta Gorda passed away March 23, 2019. She was the daughter of George and Virginia Jacobs, born March 27, 1945 in Brooklyn, NY. She came to this area from Crete, IL where she was an office manager for Balmoral Woods Golf Course for many years before retiring. Barbara and her husband, Bob, began coming to Punta Gorda in 1991. She was an avid reader, enjoyed planting and tending to her flowers, and loved to traveling with her husband. She was of the Catholic faith. Barbara will be greatly missed by her husband of 41 years, Bob Morrell; daughter, Vicky Pommier; sister, Kathy Utz; niece Katy Brownley; and nephew, Andy Utz. No services are planned.
