Arlyss Jean Turner, 89, of Charlotte Harbor, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2017 at Young at Heart Senior Care. Born in Wisconsin, she was a long time resident of Gladstone, Oregon prior to moving to Rolls Landing of Charlotte Harbor in 1991. She was a loving mother who enjoyed painting, tennis, and gardening. During her years in Oregon, Arlyss was employed as a secretary in the Oregon City School District. Survivors are her second husband, Dick Dale of Port Charlotte, Florida; sons, Kip Turner (Patricia) of Charlotte Harbor, Florida, and Todd Turner (Shelly Ann) of Bend, Oregon; grandchildren, Becca Turner of North Port, Florida, Brooke Turner of Clackamas, Oregon, and four great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Marvin Turner and her brother, Gerald Van Ranst. The family would like to express their appreciation to Young at Heart Senior Care and Tidewell Hospice for their excellent care and attention.
