Anne Learoyd Sisk, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born July 20, 1928 in Beverly, Massachusetts. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1950. Formerly Anne Page Learoyd, she married John Sisk in 1951. She was a devoted wife and mother, initially dedicating her life to her family. After her three sons left the nest, she became a successful real-estate agent. Anne and John retired to Punta Gorda in 1987. Active members of the Isles Yacht Club, John and Anne cruised the Gulf, Bahamas and as far away as Tonga over the ensuing 30 years. Anne is survived by her sons Jonathan (Tanya), Robert (Aude) and David (Janet). Anne will also be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren Matthew (Jenni), Geoffroy, Anne, Adlade (Matthew), Jean-Charles (Melanie), Katie, Morgan and Connor and her four great-grandchildren Elonore, Josphine, Laurie and Charles-Henri. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, John Lewis Sisk; parents, Ernest and Marion Learoyd; sisters, Betty Tintle and Janet Clapp; and her childhood nanny, Josie. Anne will be laid to rest at the family cemetery in Danvers, MA. Much loved by all, she will be greatly missed.
