Anna J. Baliff Wotring, 74, of Punta Gorda passed away March 12, 2006. She was born February 28, 1932 in Clayton, MI. Anna owned several businesses in Adrian, MI, including a restaurant where she earned a reputation as an outstanding cook, and an ALF; she also loved her race horses that raced in Toledo, OH. Anna came to Punta Gorda six years ago, and survived Hurricane Charley. She loved her cat, Penny, and also fed many other cats in her neighborhood; she was a nature lover and enjoyed providing seeds for the birds and squirrels who came to her yard. She will be fondly remembered, and admired for her courage throughout her illness. Anna leaves behind her daughter, Loretta (Mickey) Melton of Punta Gorda; granddaughters Lisa (William) Mc Laren and Lori Melton, both of Punta Gorda; grandsons, Chase Robinson, Zachary Mc Laren and Christian Mc Laren all of Punta Gorda; sisters, Deloris Knight of Indiana and Doris Blake of Texas.
