Anna Maria Wilhelmena Musch Loomis, 79, passed away very peacefully on her 49th wedding anniversary, December 31, 2017, at home. She was born in Eindhoven, Holland on April 22, 1938 and survived the devastation of WWII. Anna loved to sing, was a talented artist and enjoyed playing the organ. She had a close relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and personal Savior. She was also very much in love with her husband, Thomas J. Loomis, whom she adored. Anna will be greatly missed by her husband, Thomas; children, Pamela (Rob) Chandler Roe of San Jose, CA, Thomas J. (Cindy) Loomis, Jr. of Dallas, TX, Tari Loomis Trapenard of San Diego, CA, Richard English of Elmira, NY, David (Denise) Loomis of Turlock, CA, Paul (Ruth) English of Stanley, NC, and Annemieke (Dan) Loomis Hutchins of San Francisco, CA; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. The service celebrating Anna's life will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at First United Methodist Church Punta Gorda with Rev. Michael Loomis officiating.
