Alvin James (Jim) Schneider, 81, a man who loved to hunt, travel, and fish, passed on October 30, 2020, in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Jim leaves behind a loving and devoted wife, Lavida (Vea) Marston Schneider.
Jim was the son of the late John and Louise (Mathis) Schneider. He is survived by a loving daughter, Jacqueline (Scott) Vander Elsen, doting grandfather of Abby (CJ) Dach, brother to Mary Ellen (Mike) Kushner and Randall (Kathy) Schneider. He is preceded in death by brothers John and Raymond (Pat) Schneider.
Jim loved traveling and hunting with his brother Ray and many friends. He was a man who could never pass up a great fishing hole. He loved life and it loved him back and he savored a good martini. He was the owner of Schneider Builders, Inc. and BeSafe Storage in Wisconsin.
In his later years, he made his home in Punta Gorda, Florida where he now leaves many friends, neighbors, and close companion, Buddy, with warmhearted memories, who are lucky to have had him in their lives and make saying goodbye so hard.

The family will hold a celebration on November 17th from 2-4:30 pm at the Tuscany Isles Club House.
