Althea C. Meyers

Althea Conley Meyers, 78, of Punta Gorda passed away January 27, 2006. She was born May 10, 1927 in Moro, Maine to Thelma (Maxwell) and the late Ralph Conley. Althea was an office manager for Lehigh Fuel Co for 21 years before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and former den mother for the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 18 in Waterbury, Ct. She moved to Punta Gorda in 1985 from New Hartford, Ct. Althea will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years, James; mother Thelma Conley-Keys; son James Terry (Roseann) Meyers of Middlebury, Ct; brother Ralph W. (Josephine) Conley of Punta Gorda; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence W. No services are planned at this time. The family requests memorial donation be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 221 W. Charlotte Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
