Allen Bookout

Allen Bookout, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away March 10, 2010. He was the son of Barrett and Margie (Hutton) Bookout, born December 12, 1941 in Dalhart, TX. Allen was a pilot for TWA for 31 years before retiring; he moved to this area from St. Louis, MO in 1991. He played team tennis at both the Punta Gorda Club and Seminole Lakes Country Club. Allen was an former member of Isles Yacht Club and was an avid woodworker and boater. Allen will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Jean; daughters, Lori (Danny ) Apple of Wichita Falls, TX and Deidre (Kat) Triplett of San Francisco, CA; son, Tim (Kim) of Highland Village, TX; sister, Lynn (Galen) Cookey of Vero Beach, FL and 6 grandchildren.
