Alice T. Geddis

Alice T. Geddis, 96, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away on September 5, 2020, with her loving family and friends by her side. She was born on October 26, 1923, to Edward and Frances Downey in Elizabeth, NJ.

Alice worked as a school bus driver for 12 years in NJ.  She moved to Port Charlotte in 1975 and worked part-time in an optical shop in Intermediate.  She was a member of the San Antonio Catholic Church and served as an usher at the 7:00 am mass for many years.

Alice will be deeply missed by her two children Susanne Parker of Punta Gorda and George Geddis of Mead, Colorado.  She had 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Hubert in 2005; her son Lawrence in 1979 and her 3 sisters.

Alice will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell at a future date.
