Alice L. Burlison

Alice L. Burlison, 85, of Port Charlotte passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012. She was the daughter of August and Anna (Marbach) Woerner, born on January 23, 1927 in Bridgeport, CT. Alice worked as a insurance secretary and retired in 1989. She moved from Milford, Ct to Port Charlotte in 1974 and was a member of LeFemmes, and a past President of Eagles Aerie. Alice was an avid bingo player. Alice will be greatly missed by her daughter, Sandra Martinez; son, Edward (Charlene) Burlison; brother, August Woerner; grandchildren, Stacy (Austin) Parkinson, Garrett Cooley, Tech SGT USAF Edward Burlison, II, Christopher (Ashlee) Burlison, Nicole Burlison, Mark Burlison, Jr., Miranda Burlison; great-grandchildren, Austin Parkinson, III and Maelani Parkinson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Edward C. Burlison; son, Mark E. Burlison and parents. A burial will be private at Sarasota National VA Cemetery.
