Alice G. Champlin, 89, of Punta Gorda passed away April 24, 2007. She was born June 9, 1917 in Escoheag, RI. Alice worked for 20 years for Kay Dee Hand Prints in Hope Valley, R.I. before retiring. She has been a winter resident since 1989 from Rhode Island and was a past president of South County Professional and Business Women’s Club. Alice will be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Alice will be greatly missed by her husband of 48 years, William; sons Gardner McLintock and Crawford McLintock both of W. Edmondson, NY and sister-in-law Elsie Gardner of RI; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A celebration of Alice’s life will be at 2:00 p.m, Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
