Alesia J. Bowie

Alesia Jinnell Bowie was one of two children born to Sondra and Steve Howard, on August 16, 1978. Alesia grew up in Peru, Indiana and graduated from Peru High school. She was a partner for an online business, and a homemaker. Alesia loved reading, swimming, camping, and being with her family and friends. She touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. In life, Alesia was blessed and achieved all her girlhood dreams of life, love, and motherhood. She carried around a poem she wrote that stated: "Everyday and in every way, I am a better person because of my husband and family." Now her words can help inspire us to keep her in our hearts and be better people because we got a chance to know and love her. Alesia passed away peacefully at her home in Punta Gorda on January 25, 2010 at age 31. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her beloved husband, Jason Bowie; her beloved children, Alyssa 9, and Alexandrea 3; and devoted brother, Steven; along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Alesia on Saturday, January 30, 2010, at 11 am at First Alliance Church of Port Charlotte 20444 Midway Blvd., Florida 33952 where flowers are also being accepted.
