Albert J. Desgroseilliers

Albert J. DesGroseilliers, 72, of Punta Gorda passed away May 29, 2008. He was born March 5, 1936 in Manchester, NH to Albert J and Jeannette (Dufault) DesGroseilliers. Albert served in the US Army and retired from Met Life after 24 years. He moved from Manchester, New Hampshire to Punta Gorda in 1998. Albert was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 8074, American Legion Post 0110 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan and enjoyed playing cards. Albert will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, Doris "Dee"; daughters, Denise (Norman) Pilotte and Michelle Michalides both of Manchester, NH; sister, Jeannine (Sal) Puglisi of LaQuinta, CA; 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren from Maine and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Albert's life will be held at later date. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, Florida 33952.
