Albert Gabriel, Jr.

Albert Gabriel, 89, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Wed. October 8, 2014. He was the son of Albert and Frances Gabriel, born on October 25, 1924 in Chicago, IL. Albert served in the US Army during WWII. He was a retired Master Welder and moved from Sheridan, IL to this area in 1984. Albert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Punta Gorda Elks, and enjoyed playing golf. Albert will be greatly missed by his wife, Kathryn of 64 years; sister, Blanche (Eugene) Gualano of Aurora, IL and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be from 6 to 8pm, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic with the burial at Charlotte Memorial Gardens to follow.
