Adeline A. Labarbera

Adeline A. LaBarbera, 92, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on March 28, 2022. She was born on October 19, 1929, to Herminio and Mary Cerno in Danbury, CT. Adeline relocated to Florida in 2004.

Adeline was a devoted loving wife and mother. She enjoyed golf, swimming, dancing, Bocce, corn hole, and playing cards with her family and friends. She was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, Loyal Order of Moose, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Adeline will be deeply missed by her husband of 73 years Joseph S. LaBarbera; daughters Joanna M. (John) Samaha, Dianna S. (John) Nappi, Lisa M. (James) McCauley, and Mary Beth (Kevin Sr.) Lyden; son-in-law Phil Moses; brother Emil Cerno; 10 grandchildren and13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Louie Cerno and daughter Debra Moses.

A Celebration of Life was held in Port Charlotte, FL on April 6, 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Adeline’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
