Theodora Gudis

Theodora Gudis, 80, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Wed., July 2, 2014. She was the daughter of Anthony and Vlotina Panteloudis, born on February 18, 1934 in New York, N.Y. She retired from Mt. Sinai Hospital, Elmhurst, NY after many years. She moved from Queens, New York and Cutchogue, Long Island to recent years in Marco Island and Punta Gorda, FL. She loved being with family and friends -- on the water, as first mate and playing mahjong. Theodora will be remembered as an inspiration of strength and resilience, always with a laugh to share. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 59 years, Chris; daughters, Cathy (Michael Alexander) Gudis and Barbara (Dorian) Tergis; brother, Timmy Panteloudis; grandchildren, Andrew, Christine, Mina and Theodora. A memorial service to celebrate Theodora's life will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
