Santi M. Depaul

Santi M. DePaul, 59, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at his home. He was the son of Bernard and Nancy DePaul, born November 27, 1954 in Berwick, PA. Santi has been a resident of Charlotte County for over 30 years. He was a residential contractor and the owner of DePaul Homes, Inc. Santi was a member and former trustee of Port Charlotte United Methodist Church and a proud member of the BNl International "Rainmakers." Santi enjoyed spending time fishing, and hunting with his two sons. Franklin and Alex grew up playing, working, and praying with their father. Santi was an avid Charlotte Tarpon football sponsor and fan. Every hobby or activities in his life were centered around his wife and children. He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and so much more to so many people. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 20 years, Diane; sons; Franklin and Alexander; mother, Nancy DePaul; brothers, Bernard (Rhona) DePaul and David (Carol)DePaul; sisters, Kathleen (Craig) Miller, Lisa (Ted) Fuss, Carolyn Washburn, Anne Marie (Greg) Haddock and Nanette DePaul; brother in laws, David and Donald Emmel, and Meer Almeer; sister in laws; Darlene (Fred) Stallard and Deborah Emmel; nieces and nephews; Carlee, Laura, Lindsey, Kyle, David, Thomas, Andrew, Bryce, Erin, Dash, and his "sons in heart", Nathan Huck and Colton Salter. Santi was much loved member of our community, and he was blessed to have many friends that he considered his other "brothers and sisters". His presence will be profoundly missed, but never forgotten. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday Aug. 31st at 6:30 pm at Port Charlotte United Methodist Church.
