Robert D. Sikula, Jr.

Robert D. Sikula, Jr., 65, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Vero Beach, FL passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was the son of Ann and Robert Sikula, Sr., born June 27, 1950 in Cleveland, OH. Robert graduated from Bedford High School Class of 69 and attended 2 years at Lakeland Community College in Mentor, OH. He served 2 years active duty in the US Navy aboard the USS Guadalcanal and 4 years in the Reserves. Robert was awarded National Defense Service Medal. Robert will be greatly missed by his wife of 2 years, Joanne; sister, Randy Ann (Peter) Bechtel; nieces, Suzanne R. Hamilton and Jacqueline M. Hamilton; nephews, Clark R.(Sonia) Bechtel and Michelle Bechtel; great nieces, Taitem Alford, Piper Quinn Kujawa, Brianna Bechtel, Jannae Bechtel and Nicole Bechtel; great-nephew, Eric Bechtel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ann and nephew, Ted Bechtel. A private service was held. Inurnment will be at a later date.
