Paul W. Flament, 87, of Punta Gorda formerly of Duluth, MN passed away January 21, 2009. He was born October 20, 1921 in Binghamton, NY to Gustav and Nelly (Conley) Flament. Paul served in the US Army during WWII and later graduated from the University of Detroit with a degree in civil engineering. In 1948 he began working for US Gypsum Company as a sales engineer, and went on to become the assistant marketing manager in the acoustical division. In 1954 he established Flament Hampshire, Inc. in Duluth, MN. He retired in 1987 and moved to Punta Gorda, FL. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 58 years, Marian (Schnettler); children, Jane Ludders of Buffalo, NY, Douglas Flament of Lewistown, MT; Mary Katherine Flament of Virginia, MN, Patricia Fitzgibbon of Denver, CO and Molly Flament of Bozeman, MT; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care, 1144 Veronica Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952 or Sacred Heart Catholic Church Building Fund, 211 W.
