Katherine A. Hoop

Katherine “Kathy” Adkins Hoop, 55, of Punta Gorda passed away January 20, 2007. She was born December 5, 1951 in Arcadia to Klin and Cordelia (Brooks) Adkins. Kathy was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was of a member of the Punta Gorda Moose and was of the Baptist faith. Kathy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Kathy will be greatly missed by her father, Klin (Jean) Adkins; son, Timothy Hoop; daughter, Rebecca (Philip) Hendrickson; sisters, Nettie Louise (Ernest) Cook, Charlotte (Frankie) Hicks and Ella Adkins; uncle and aunt Paul and Lucille Brooks; eight grandchildren along with numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Paula; sister Betty Sue Rountree; ex-husband Tim and Kathy’s companion John Briggs.
