Karen G. Sizemore

Karen G. Sizemore, 69, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013. She was the daughter of Harry and Theda (nee Spears) Campbell, born on April 17, 1944 in Caretta, WV. Karen moved from Huntingtown, Maryland to Punta Gorda in 1995. She was a member of American Legion, the Elks, Punta Gorda Boat Club, Burnt Store Isles Boat Club and Burnt Store Isles Association. Karen will be remembered as a loving wife and awesome mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her husband, John; children, Jack Sizemore, Mary Turner and Kendra Turner; brother, Gary, sister, Sue; grandchildren Kara, Justin, Amber, Katelyn, Timothy, Ainslee, Katie & Erin, and great-grandchildren Patrick, Aiden, Jayveid, Jayse, Paige, Tucker and a little one on the way. The family will receive family and friends from 3-4pm, Thursday, November 7, 2013 at Port Charlotte Methodist Church with a service to celebrate Karen's life to follow at 4pm. A reception will follow immediately after the service. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Peace River Wildlife Center, Punta Gorda. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
