John A. Webb

John A. Webb, 88 of Rotonda West formerly of Titusville, FL passed away February 7, 2010. He was the son of Howard and Ethel (Sandals) Webb, born June 16, 1921 in Lakewood, Ohio. John served in the US Army during WWII and worked as a Civil Structural Engineer for Gee & Jensen Engineering. He was a member of American Society of Civil Engineering, The Aquamasters and First United Methodist Church in Punta Gorda. John enjoyed working with his hands and was a master gardener. He will be greatly missed by his daughters, JoAnn Mueller of Port Orange, FL, Nancy (Mark) Dugger of Calhoun, GA and Terry (Dale) Kearns of Rotonda West, FL; sons, John Jr (Susan) Webb of North Olmsted, OH and Craig (Anita) Webb of Avon Lake, OH; brothers, Howard T of Cottonwood, AZ and Lee A of Sparta, TN; sister, Jeanette Jamison of Pittsburgh, PA; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Levy. A funeral service in celebration of John's life will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 1st United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda.
