Courtney B. Smallwood

Courtney B. Smallwood, 19, of Arcadia passed away October 23, 2006. She was born February 9, 1987 in Tucker, GA to Arnal A Smallwood and Tammy (Davis) Gilley. Courtney was in the Band as a flag corp and graduated from River Road High School in Amarillo, TX. She was of the Protestant faith and moved from Amarillo, TX to Arcadia in 2006. Courtney will be greatly missed by her mother Tammy Gilley of North Port; brother Kenny Gilley of Port Charlotte; sisters Ashley Smallwood of North Port and Brittaney Davis of Port Charlotte; maternal grandparents Ken and Connie Davis of Eldon, Iowa; paternal grandmother Nancy Smith of Atlanta, GA and paternal step-grandfather Marvin Smith of North Port, FL; along with many aunts and uncles. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 29 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services. A celebration of Courtney’s life will be at 11:00 am, Monday, October 30 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
