Charles J. Farnham, 75, of Port Charlotte, FL passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born September 2, 1936 in Bronx, N.Y. to Charles and Frances (McCauley) Farnham. Charles was a Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force and retired after 37 years. He moved from New Jersey to Port Charlotte in 2002. Charles attended First Baptist of Port Charlotte. He enjoyed playing golf, hearts, boating, fishing and was a fan of the New York Yankees and Giants. Charles will be greatly missed by his wife of 1 year, Janet; daughters, Karen (Ed) Bush of Hamilton, NJ and Trish Snook of Cumming, GA; son, Chaz (Tammy) of Casper, WY; step-sons, Chris Burns and Travis Burns both of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Erin, Kate, Jason and 1 great granddaughter, Mallory. He was preceded in death by grandson, Jack Snook. Service will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Humane Society Animal Welfare League, 4519 Drance Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33980.
